✍️ Best watch so far, for all the reasons others have said, was Iva Jovic vs. Alexandra Eala (Round 3).
So interesting that it wasn’t big, or even particularly skillful serves, but the rallies that were so full of fun. Sometimes I don’t hear enough “I love to play tennis” and that is what they showed us. Joy in the game. Relentless joy.
It’s hard to argue with that, Mary. Tennis is nothing without its sense of freedom and fun.
